Review
Wicked is a
fantastic urban fantasy that lovers of the genre will devour. I loved this
novel so much that before finishing it on Kindle, I bought an exclusive
hardcover.
In Wicked
by Jennifer L. Armentrout we see fae hunter Ivy as she works with the Order and
it's newest transfer Ren. Ren is an enigmatic, fine ass man who arrives with
ulterior motives. Forced to work with Ren to fight the fae Ivy fights inner
demons while falling for Ren during their time together. This book is filled
with some shocking revelations that, while I saw them coming, were still
impactful and made for a great story.
The
characters in Wicked are diverse, interesting, and lovable. Tink is a riot and
dialogue between characters flows naturally. I loved the chemistry between Ren
and Ivy. It's also cool to see the fae as bad guys and not romantic interests.
If you have even a passing interest in urban fantasy or fae then the Wicked trilogy should be on your tbr. This book is fun and fast-paced, full of both action and romance.
