Review:
Vows &
Ruins is a spectacular follow-up to the previous novel. It's fun, fast-paced,
full of action and romance, and has an ending I absolutely did not see coming.
In Vows
& Ruins Althea battles the forces of evil, while traveling to do battle
with the Daughter of Darkness. This book is full of shocking revelations, epic
battles, steamy romance, and delightful found family moments.
Thea is a
fabulous femme fatale. She's beautiful, strong, vulnerable, and driven. I loved
the other characters too, Wilder is your archetypal dark and brooding love
interest, her friends Cal and Kipp provide welcome comic relief, and I enjoyed
seeing her relationship with her sister Wren develop
Vows &
Ruins is a fantastic fantasy follow-up that is not to be missed. If you still
haven't read the first book and you have even a passing interest in romantasy
and fantasy then this series is a must read.
