Review:
This book was so good
and so much fun. The conclusion to Judes
story was better than I could have hoped for and this book is just as strong
and compelling as the previous two.
At the beginning of this book
we see Jude left reeling after three major betrayals. She's back in the human
world, exiled. Presumed dead in the mortal world with no social security number
Jude is left doing odd jobs for the solitary fey that live amongst the humans
to make ends meet. While languishing in the human world Taryn runs into some
pretty big trouble in Faerie. She comes to Jude for help and suddenly Jude is
to traverse into Faerie for her sister. War, politics, and romance complicate
Judes precarious return.
In this book there's a lot more
character development with everyone really, but especially Jude. We see real
vulnerability as she deals with her feelings for Cardan, Taryn, and Madoc. Well
paced and exciting with lots of twists and turns this book will have you
reading late into the night.
