Review:

Servant of Earth is a brilliant fantasy novel filled with lush world-building, diverse and intriguing characters, a shrewd female main character, and an engaging story.

Kenna Heron lives in a world where worthy young women are chosen to live in the supposed luxurious fae world. The moment things take a more sinister tone Kenna doesn't hesitate to risk everything for her friend Anya. This decision thrusts her into the fae world, a world full of glamor, politics, trials, hedonism, violence and betrayal.

Few heroines are as intelligent and sharp as Kenna, even fewer are as perceptive and courageous. Kenna is the heroine romantasy and fantasy girlies need. Populating Kennas new world is an interesting assortment of varied characters with equally manifold personalities. While the romance will absorb you it's the friendship between Lara and Kenna that is the true relationship highlight of this book.

The world-building is perfect, everything is explained exactly when it is needed. You're never overloaded with too much information. Well-paced as well no part of the book overstays its welcome. Kenna's new verdant and vibrant world is as much a character as the plethora of persons surrounding her.

If you want excellent world-building, an astute and quick-witted heroine, dazzling romance, an opulent fae world, and court intrigue, Servant of Earth is not to be missed.
