For She is
Wrath is a book that asks the question 'Do the ends justify the means?'. At the
heart of this glittering world of Bollywood style opulence and excessive riches
is a story about murderous revenge.
Dania is
betrayed by her lover and framed for a murder she didn't commit. A year after
being jailed a chance encounter with a girl named Noor affords her an
opportunity to get revenge against those who have wronged her. This book is
surprisingly deep and nuanced in its dealings with betrayal, loss, revenge,
morality, and even addiction.
That being
said, there were times when this novel felt a little long and drawn out. The
pacing could have been much better. Side characters are interesting enough, but
I feel like we could have gotten to know them better.
Still, For She is Wrath is a good book I bought for the gorgeous cover art but stayed with for the story. It you're looking for a good YA novel or a story with strong morals at the center of it then this story will not disappoint.
